Hi, I’m Thao
II've spent 25 years as a software engineer, with more than a decade focused on building things before the technology existed to support them. I love pretty things, but being a creative was not my path (I was the worst student in art class since kindergarten). Now, I'm building systems that help people like myself do creative work without being a creative. I'm all about finding the right workflows, breaking things down, and finding solutions that work.
My personal side:
I was born in Belgium and raised in Northern Italy on the shores of the Lago Maggiore. l’ve spent years in Stockholm, Palo Alto and Los Angeles; pieces of my life I miss dearly. Montreal is where I call home and where you’ll hear me speak more than three languages in one conversation. I don’t have time for Netflix; you’ll find me fiddling with something: coding, gardening, cooking, or DIYing a room with a drill in hand… I am obsessed with fashion and dance has been a big part of my life.
